Vest made from vintage woven silk kimonos. I carefully unpicked two woven silk kimonos I collected a while ago and worked with Kate to make them into very simple vests. In between is local NZ wool batting used for quilting.
I decided to make them self lined and have side pockets to keep them very simple.
Sleeveless, generous armholes, side pockets. Could be worn over anything!

The orange of the Roses one looks slightly brighter orange in different light!
Approximately 55cm wide (underarm to underarm) and 62cm long.
