Dress inspired by a vintage top.
Square neckline, slight drop shoulder, square sleeve, french seams, pleats at front and back, gusset under arms, pockets. Split and tie can be worn at the front or at the back. I made this one quite long, if you don't you could take up the hem easily.
Made in Tāmaki Makaurau, Aotearoa by a talented machinist. I buy fabrics that I like when I see them, just enough for one dress. All of these are one offs. This fabric is an antique fabric, narrow in width. It has been joined with flat felled seams.
Please note there are age spots on the fabric. It doesn't detract from the dress and they are not noticeable. I found this fabric too beautiful not to use. This is a one off.
