Quilted reversible vest. One side is fine Italian herringbone wool, the other is either vintage silk, vintage handwoven cotton, or a mixture of cottons. In between is wool batting used for quilting. The binding on the side and shoulder seams on all of them is cotton.
Sleeveless, generous armholes, two patch pockets on one side (could be used as external or internal pockets, depending on which side you were wearing it on), slight puff in shoulder binding. The wool binding has been hand stitched.
