Handwoven Flower Hand Towel

Sold Out

Beautifully handwoven and finished locally by talented weaver Christine Brimer.

The pattern is based on an overshot bed coverlet design called Wandering Vine from the book "A Handweaver's Pattern Book" by Marguerite Davison. Christine has rescaled the warp threading and weft shuttle sequences to better suit a handtowel, complemented by a classic towel stripe and a handwoven band for hanging.

These are more generous in size and have a loop to hang them from too. Please keep in mind that I designed these for hand use only, great in the bathroom. Also great to cover or wrap bread and food. They were not designed to be used as tea towels with sharp knives.
